Vision and mission

    An India that builds its own flight-critical future. An India where no defence, space or nuclear programme depends on a part the nation cannot make and certify at home: no foreign schedule, no foreign licence, no foreign price on a critical system.

  2. Mission

    Powder to qualified part, under one sovereign roof. To build India’s first fully integrated, aerospace-grade metal additive manufacturing platform: one that prints, finishes and certifies the hardest flight-critical parts end to end, and earns that trust audit by audit.

India designs world-class platforms. The hardest parts are still imported.

Indian aerospace, defence and nuclear programmes depend on flight-critical metal components that no domestic supplier can additively manufacture and certify end to end. Printing, heat treatment, precision machining and inspection sit with separate vendors, and qualification stalls in the handoffs.

Meanwhile, export controls and supplier nations can gate strategic parts on their schedule, not ours. Demand was never the constraint. What India does not yet have is certified, sovereign capability.

KRITTVA DNA exists to close that gap by bringing home a decade of proven US additive-manufacturing execution to build the country’s first fully integrated Defence, Nuclear and Aerospace metal AM platform.

Devak Kamath

A decade of metal additive manufacturing in the United States, on the supplier side of programmes that had to fly. He has worked on hardware for the SpaceX Raptor engine and for the lander Intuitive Machines put on the Moon, and he has carried a printed titanium implant through the FDA.

  • Led an FDA 510(k) clearance from scratch for the 3D-printed porous titanium tibial baseplate in Maxx Orthopedics’ Freedom Total Knee System, announced in February 2025
  • Howco Group, a Sumitomo company: aerospace parts to AS9100 and subsea components to API 20S, both in IN718 validated to ASTM F3055, with vacuum heat treatment and vendor HIP, qualified to its heat-treated tensile minima
  • Orchid Orthopedic Solutions: implant production under ISO 13485 on electron beam powder bed fusion, in Ti-6Al-4V ELI to ASTM F3001. That baseplate was built there.
  • 3 AM divisions built from scratch, the same build-from-zero KRITTVA demands
  • Certified in laser scan strategy development by an LPBF machine OEM, and a guest lecturer on DfAM at the University of Houston and Texas State University
